Northeast Gas Association (NGA)
The Northeast Gas Association (NGA) is a regional trade association that focuses on education and training, technology research and development, operations, planning, and increasing public awareness of natural gas in the Northeast U.S. NGA represents natural gas distribution companies, transmission companies, liquefied natural gas importers, and associate member companies. These companies provide natural gas to more than 6.8 million customers in seven states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont).
NGA was established on January 1, 2003, as a merger of the New England Gas Association (founded in 1926) and the New York Gas Group (founded in 1973).
American Gas Association (AGA)
The American Gas Association (AGA) is a trade association composed of approximately 300 natural gas distribution, transmission, gathering and marketing companies in North America, which together account for more than 90 percent of the natural gas delivered in the United States.
Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA)
The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) is a trade organization that advocates regulatory, legislative and individual positions of importance to the natural gas pipeline industry. INGAA's membership includes virtually all of the interstate natural gas transmission companies operating in the United States, as well as comparable companies in Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and South America.
The Business Council of New York State
The Business Council of New York State is a statewide association of more than 4,000 member businesses, working together, and with government, to create an economic renaissance for New York State and its people.
New York Economic Development Corporation
NYSEDC's mission is to encourage economic growth in each of the five boroughs of New York City by strengthening the city's competitive position and facilitating investments that build capacity, generate prosperity, and catalyze the economic vibrancy of city life as a whole.
Canadian Energy Research Institute
