Employee Community Outreach Committee

Funding decisions, which typically range from $50-$250, are centered on three basic categories:
- Education. Organizations and programs that provide educational opportunities to youth.
- Culture and the Arts. Organizations and programs that enhance the quality of the arts in the community.

The United Way
Iroquois has been a strong supporter of the United Way for over 10 years. Every fall an Employee Charitable Giving Campaign is held to raise awareness and encourage employee participation. Eighty percent of Iroquois’ employees participated in the 2008 campaign, resulting in a combined employee pledge and corporate match contribution of over $57,000.
Corporate Volunteer Council
Iroquois is also a member of the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC), a program of the Valley United Way's Volunteer Action Center. As a member of the CVC, Iroquois employees volunteer their time and talents at the yearly "Week of Caring" project and participate in the Back-to-School program that provides outfits, coats, sneakers, backpack and supplies to needy children in area schools. Other opportunities for involvement include clothing drives and food collections, as well as “notion” and cell phone collections.
