Iroquois Gas Transmission System: Gas Control, Scheduling and Systems Operations

Overview

The Iroquois Gas Control, Scheduling and Systems Operations department works to bring the contractual and physical functions of the Iroquois system together for successful day-to-day operations. Our goal is to provide our customers with exceptional service and support.

Gas Control & Systems Operations

Iroquois’ Gas Control provides consistent service to Iroquois customers 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.  Working with the Capacity Marketing Manager, system capacity is determined on pipeline conditions. Operational balances are managed with point operators. All System Controllers are DOT Operator-Qualified (OQ) and trained to assist with nominations and confirmations. Gas Control utilizes a state of the art SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system to monitor and control the safe and efficient operation of the pipeline. They coordinate all emergency calls and collaborate with Engineering and Field Operations on pipeline maintenance and construction projects to minimize system outages.

Scheduling

Our Transportation Representative can assist with nominations, confirmations and scheduled volumes.
