A Tradition of Safety, Community Partnership and Environmental Responsibility

Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P., a limited partnership of four U.S. and Canadian energy companies, owns and operates a 414-mile interstate natural gas pipeline extending from the U.S.-Canadian border at Waddington, NY, through New York State and western Connecticut to its terminus in Commack, NY, and from Huntington to the Bronx, NY.

Iroquois was created in 1985 as a cooperative venture with a promise to bring greater supply diversity and competitively-priced natural gas to the Northeast. Since commencing full operations in 1992, Iroquois has continued to fulfill that promise by providing safe, reliable natural gas delivery service to meet the growing energy needs of the populous Northeast. We remain committed to making positive contributions to the economic success and quality of life for the towns, cities, and regions we serve and pass through.

Iroquois' wholly-owned subsidiary, the Iroquois Pipeline Operating Company, headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut, is the agent for and operator of the pipeline. Iroquois does not produce the natural gas it carries nor does it own it; we simply transport it for various shippers to other transmission pipelines, power plants and local distribution companies who then bring it to the places where we work and live.
