Our Leadership Team

• E.J. “Jay” Holm, President
  Jay has over 40 years of management experience in the natural gas industry and has been President of IPOC since April 2003. Jay began his natural gas career in 1968 with Northern Natural Gas and has held several executive management positions at Tenneco/El Paso, Kern River Transmission Company, Australia’s Epic Energy and El Paso Global LNG.
  
  Jay currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Interstate Natural Gas Association (INGAA) and Northeast Gas Association (NGA).  He is also a member of the Society of Gas
  Lighting.
  
  
• Paul Bailey, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
  With 40 years of natural gas and electric industry experience, Paul began his career at Ontario Hydro in 1968.  Joining TransCanada Pipelines Limited in 1982, Paul held a variety of senior management positions within the accounting and finance areas, prior to transferring to IPOC in 1992.
  
  As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at IPOC, Paul is a key member of the senior management team and responsible for the overall strategic and tactical leadership and management of the organization's Finance and Treasury function, as well as Administration, Information Technology and Human Resources functions.
  
  
• Jeffrey A. Bruner, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
  Jeff earned his juris doctorate degree from the University of Denver and has 25 years of legal expertise.  Prior to joining IPOC in 1992, Jeff was with Transco Energy Company where he held various positions in the legal department including General Attorney in charge of the legal department for Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation, an interstate pipeline affiliate of Transco Energy. 
  
  As Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at IPOC, Jeff is a key member of the senior management team and responsible for all legal affairs of the company.  Jeff serves as the Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer and also directs the functions of Environmental & Health Safety, Rates and Corporate Communications.
  
  
• Scott E. Rupff, Vice President, Marketing, Development & Commercial Operations
  Scott has 25 years of experience in the natural gas industry.  Prior to joining IPOC in 1994, Scott was employed by The Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO) for eight years holding various positions within the gas supply organization.  Scott was Director of Marketing for IPOC prior to becoming Vice President in 2004.
  
  As Vice President, Marketing, Development & Commercial Operations at IPOC, Scott is a key member of the senior management team and responsible for leading the Company's overall Marketing/Sales, Customer Satisfaction, Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Commercial Operations initiatives.
  
  Scott is a member of the Society of Gas Lighting.
  

• Paul R. Amato, General Manager, Engineering & Operations
  Paul has over 23 years of engineering experience within the natural gas industry.  Prior to joining IPOC in 1997, Paul was with Algonquin Gas Transmission where he held various supervisory and engineering positions.  Paul held the position of Director, Field Operations & Right-of-Way at IPOC prior to becoming General Manager in December 2009.
  
  As General Manager, Engineering & Operations at IPOC, Paul is a key member of the senior management team and provides overall direction of the company's engineering function, i.e. Engineering Services, Field Operations and compliance with company, governmental and professional requirements.
  
  Paul is the IPOC Representative to the INGAA Foundation, which works to advance the efficient construction and safe, reliable operation of the natural gas pipeline system in North America and supports worldwide natural gas infrastructure development.
